    Looks like winter

is getting closer. Some parts of the west have already experienced cold and snow rather early. Our leaves started to turn a couple of weeks ago and are now getting into full swing. Has been quite hot lately in Southern Ohio with temps in the 90's, going to have a cool down next week to more normal temps with the use of the wood burner. Time to get the insulated boots out to help combat my neuropathy.

Down here where I live we had some unseasonably cool nights running into the 60's back in late August or early September. I assumed it was associated with all the storms at that time but it could be Al Gore's global warming BS.

Temperatures dropped remarkably as Hurricane Irma rolled up through Florida and Georgia. We slept at nights with the windows open ... temperatures running about 74 at night and down to 68 in the mornings. Wonderful! Now ... things are up to 88 during the day. At night ... maybe 76-77. If the humidity was down, it'd be better. Cool days and nights in September were so nice ... like old times when I was a little boy. Used to be this time of year it was always cool, like we saw w/ Irma. That was back in the 60's. Sincerely. bruce.

For us uneducated hillbillies could the temps be in F? 30 degrees here is getting a little chilly.

Sorry Vern. No mammoths in stock right now. If you're in a hurry, I can get you one but it will cost you an extra 5 million.

Sorry. Cash on the barrelhead. My time machine is in the shop and I need cash to get it out.

I guess you wouldn't take my collection of sea shells and bottle caps, either?

Well I might consider it if they're over 300 million years old.
