My (now ex) did something similar. In exchange for putting in a row of roses along the back side of the house, she'd "let me" order a target trigger for one of my rifles.Yes! My wife agreed to let me buy an antique Colt SAA when we got it done and then a few days later, she crawfished and said to just get over my disappointment.
Humans really are the most undependable animals on this planet.
I'm building it all because I just felt like it. I'm done with doing anymore from now on though. For now the fun's gone for me with trying to be creative around here.
I'll post some more photo's in a few minutes when I walk down there with my iPad camera.
Im glad you Like it!
After the job was complete ... she changed her mind.
I went out back, yanked out all the bare root roses, put them back into their bags, dug the receipt out of the trash, & returned them to the nursery. I then retrieved the lengths of sod & tamped them back into place. It took her a couple of days to notice they were all gone. While I was digging & planting.she also made it clear that: 'she didn't have time' to make sure all "her" roses were kept well watered.Last edited by AZshooter; 10-16-2017, 10:01.Comment

The Upper Flagstone patio should be all in place and finished tomorrow morning. A wrought iron gazebo and fountain are now up there.
