I just received this email on a fraud alert and have suspended the user.
This is Detective N. Mincey of the Cumberland County Sheriff’s Office in Fayetteville, NC..I wanted to inform this forum that a subject using the member name of djt20 is using this forum to attract potential firearms buyers…this subject offers to sell a member a weapon, gives the member directions on how to pay, then gives an address where the payment can be sent to, and then he never delivers the merchandise. The telephone number the suspect uses is a google voice number which can be obtained by anyone..with very little chance of tracing it. This scam has been attempted on at least two of your members, please let all your members know about this scam….
The scammer will likely change his info….beware of any subjects with telephone numbers that are computer generated…it is very easy to check. If you have any questions, please feel free to contact me at any of the numbers listed below.
