Fats Domino - sure did enjoy his music

RIP and thanks for the great music.

Fats Domino, the amiable rock 'n' roll pioneer whose steady, pounding piano and easy baritone helped change popular music even as it honoured the grand, good-humoured tradition of the Crescent City, has died. He was 89.

+1 on that Ken. I remember enjoying his music beginning back around 1956 when I went in the Navy. Never got tired of it.

Some one mentioned BLUEBERRY HILL . Just wonder if you knew he "covered " Gene Autry on that song. Gene sang that one back in the old days before "FATS" was fat. LOL LOL

This song is by Gene Autry and appears on the album Back In The Saddle Again (1966) and on the Compilation album The Essential Gene Autry 1933-1946 (1992).

It's amazing how many covers of that song there are, including believe it or not... Vladimir Putin who sang that song at a charity concert some years ago.

                  RIP Fats
