This is playing like a movie

Anyone remember 'An Absence of Malice'? Paul Newman is the son of a Miami bootlegger, and Sally Field is the newsbimbo who gets played like a fiddle by the U.S. Att'y(Bob Balaban). Wilford Brimley is the honcho from D.C. sent down to clean the mess.

Anyway, this whole dossier is looking more and more like a mob style discredit setup. Which leads me to ask: Joe Kennedy was connected and The Dope from Hope grew up in Hot Springs which has been associated with organized crime since when. Not to forget Harry Truman of the Prendergast machine.

So is all the anti Donald activity just the mob reacting to being finally out of power for the first time in decades?

    Just my conspiracy du jour.

Joe Kennedy made his money as a bootlegger during the U.S. Prohibition. Cutty Sark was his brand name.
"...is all the anti Donald activity just..." No. The Donald is just nuts. Every time he opens his cake hole it's to change feet. He's a real estate guy trying to fiddle with economics he doesn't understand and without his yes men.
    Spelling and grammar count!

Do you understand economics? Harry Truman said that if you laid the economists end to end they would point in all directions! What's good for one side can be bad for another.
