Spoke to Da Gimp a bit last night and some more today. He's back at home so he's happy for that. He is weak and cannot talk for very long. They've given up on the treatments. Chemo, radiation, and alternative drug regimens simply aren't showing positive looking results they were hoping for. On "happy pills" for a wee bit of pep on top of the pain killers.
The man is a real trooper. He told me that he looked in on this site. Someone directed him to the earlier threads we had about him. (That was a good thing and a tip of the hat to whoever you are) Told me to extend a sincere thank you, and bless all who had kind words for him. I'm quite positive he really appreciated it and was greatly impacted by all your caring words.

PS. Tommy, thanks for giving me a swift kick out of procrastination mode. I don't mean to get so sidetracked. I just keep "puting off 'til tomorrow" even though I tell myself today is the day.
