Everyone knows that the original Jamestown Fort is gone forever, washed into the James River. Then one day, while doing some work at the Virginia Antiquities Center at Jamestown, they found something strange -- the original fort!
My cousin's daughter was visiting and we went to see it -- you walk through the Virginia Antiquities Center (which is like a huge Victorian house), out onto the back verandah, and look down over the railing and there it is!
