Storm came thru, got 2+ inches of rain then 3" of snow on top of that. @0230 Sheriff went from a Level 1 to a Level 3 in 55 minutes, county is now closed down so no church. Will go out later and clean off ramp, then safety salt and lay down sand, temp is 14 degrees. Such a nice day I took out a rack of baby back ribs and letting them thaw in cool water to grill later this afternoon, yes sir why waste such a marvelous day!

When did our world change that three inches of snow cause things to shut down?

Projected temps here today are 44 degrees high and 29 degrees low. Coldest day so far this year. Feb is our worse month. Due to winter weeds we still have to mow our grass. It's not always this "peachy" here though as it rains 300 days a year, we have high air humidity all summer and of course those hurricanes in the fall.

1/4" of ICE under the snow and wind is blowing @25-35 MPH.
