    FOX just said...

On Valentine's Day the "average" man spends $360 a d the "average" woman spends $60. They didn't say where the poll was taken, nor the population surveyed. Seems to me maybe NY, SF, Wash DC, or Chicago. Whomever they were, I suspect 'they' aren't as average as most of us; or am I wrong?

I spent $3 on a card. I guess that makes me below average. Do remember however, that half of the population is below average

I spent $44 taking my wife out to a nice Chinese place, then played "My Funny Valentine" for her on the trumpet. Did it twice 'cause she wanted to take a movie with her phone

I might spend $360. That's only $90 per woman and I will be eating half the dinners.

Here's how it works. The wife/girlfriend is disappointed in what you spent and you spend the rest of the year spending the balance of the $360.00 trying to make up.

$360???? That sounds like the going rate for a short term contractural relationship.... if you get my meaning

                  dinner was maybe $20,
I cooked, (should I count my hourly rate?)

                  champagne was $39, ,

if we had gone out it would have been maybe $100 tops
