    Spring has sprung here

Things are coming early here this year. Often the fruit trees bloom though and are killed by a March frost but so far we are into the warm days here. I'm on the 2nd mowing, the cars are turning yellow from the pollen and I'm swatting the carpenter bees with a tennis racket. No snakes observed yet. Highs in the high 70's, lows in the 60's. Still rains most every day though.

Just posting for comparison sake to where you live.

Left Pittsburgh on 1/28 just ahead of the sub-zero temps. We’ve been in Ft. Myers and Sarasota, FL since 1/30. The temps are close to breaking records here. Mid to upper 80s every day, clear sky, no rain. It all comes to an end next weekend when we return home to 30s and 40s. Nice while it lasted.

It's 8 degrees in MT. Come and visit us. Don't plan on staying long.

We’re actually going to visit Yellowstone right after Labor Day. Hard to know what to pack. Daytime temps can be in the 60s but overnight temps are already down in the 30s. Guess I can leave the shorts at home.

In my area, the city snowplows have been working to clear the streets for the 4th of July parade! 8-)

The trees are budding in the Ozarks. I believe we made it through this winter without an ice storm or serious power loss. But THIS summer I will buy a propane generator!!
