Fun in the Sun with 6.5 Creedmoor

Absolutely beautiful morning here in Connecticut. 56 degrees and sunny with a steady 10mph Canadian breeze. Waiting for the 9 oclock hour to arrive. I don't like to disturb the neighbors any earlier. My Savage Stealth in 6.5 Creedmoor is going to be the tool of choice for the day. Got a nice pile of 140 gr Bergers over 35 grs of Varget for fodder.

Never tried driving tacks with a rifle though many talk about it. I am very pleased with sub 1/2 moa groups shot prone off a bipod. Some days better than others. Today is not one of the best. Maybe it's the wind moving me around but still shooting about 1/2.

Mr Art , you ever shoot at 300 yds, would like to see your groups and did you ever go to Don Whitmans shop in winsted. I spent some money with him years ago.

Sure, I can push my range out to 300 but I shoot mostly 50', 50yds, 75 yds, 100 yds and 150 yds. Never heard of Don Whitman. I know there is a gunshop on the main drag in Winsted that I go by on my trips to the VA.

That looks like it might be fun to try instead of the 50 yd benchrest rimfire.
