Camper lost in wilderness in CA

I think it is just another hoax, sorta like that gal in Hawaii. She "ran" away from their campsite, DUH! Said she has a good sense of direction? Another "DUH'!

She said on Inside Edition that she was abducted at knife point. Broke free and ran away.

We had 2 16 year old girls get lost in Algonquin Park(North East of TO) just last weekend. Both were trained so they sat down and waited. They had camping kit and food so I'm suspicious of why they got lost. None of my business though.
Would have been found a great deal faster if they had built a really smoky fire. Algonquin has continuous fire watch.

I read the story when the "missing hiker" was found.
Sounds like a phoney story to me.
