    Masks

Now that this virus has been raised to a pandemic, will you consider using a mask in public. My family is grounding me due to this and I am considering wearing the mask as well. We have 3 "suspected" cases within 100 miles of my cabin and OU has cancelled classes in person. Personally I feel that since some of us are very vulnerable with our health care why take chances?

Relax.... a week ago our Sockcucker in Chief told us all this was a hoax. After all... he seems to know more than scientists on lots of issues.

Nothing more than a Democratic hoax to make him look bad he said, " Fake News" ... and since most here agreed with him... what's the worry ?

Of course tonight at 9 p.m. he may be telling us a different story... so what are we going to believe tomorrow ?

Dr. Fauci is respected on the Hill, by both sides, as a straight shooter. Even the Trumpists leave him alone. Go with whatever he says.

I should have figured, some people can't give an opinion without injecting something else in to it. No wonder this world is as screwed up as it is!

Some big bets out there. Pro sports are shutting down, while the likes of Limbaugh and Hannity cry "hoax".

I would hate to get past cancer and have a virus knock me off. My family is trying to ground me to the porch and I am fighting it. I guess the respirator goes on if I get to go out! Wife has to see her specialist @ the hospital on Tuesday, Daughter is going in with Mom and Wolf and I are staying in the truck.

I went to the VA hospital today and was yelled at because I did not use one of the two main entrances. I was told I needed to get screened at the main entrance. At the main entrance, I was asked if I had been out of the country, if I had a cough, and if I had a fever. I replied no and a sticker was placed on my shirt. I was hospitalized last week and because I had C. diff a few years ago, I was given the full infection control routine. I told one of the nurses that I tested negative for C. diff in four tests after treatment. Infection Control was called after a few days and they removed the restrictions. In the few days I was restricted they must have used over 100 disposable yellow gowns (everyone who entered my room had to put on a gown and I had to put one on to leave my room).

Going to a hospital during this pandemic is dangerous. I say this because of our local hospital. It is and has been a den of infections, viruses and questionable sanitation. So I do not trust that I would not catch some sort of disease.

I remember wondering what they were talking about when people would say, go to the hospital and get sicker. Now I know. A friends husband has rhuematoid arthritis and practically no immune system. He's been in the hospital a lot. His wife who is a professional house keeper takes her own cleaning gear with her when he goes in.
If I should die before I wake...great,a little more sleep.
