    The Gambler

Kenny Rogers left the world stage last night at his home with his family close by. He was 81 and died of natural causes with hospice in attendance. My favorite was "Lucille" as will as "The Gambler" among others.

I found he was just about unrecognizable after his face lift. When I saw him afterwards I would not have know it was him without hearing his unique voice. RIP

His song "Ruby" still bring trears.

        "For God's sake,turn around!"

        He's folded his cards. RIP.

-got up so tight, I couldn't unwind. Saw so much it broke my mind-

I remember taping this on my little cassette recorder when I was about sixteen. Holding the mike up to the AM radio. My hippie days.
If I should die before I wake...great,a little more sleep.
