    John Prine

The only person who has died of cov 19 that I recognized.
-there's a hole in daddies arm where all the money goes- A sad song. He did a lot of songs about every day occurrences and relationships. He had a way of getting your attention.

Angel from Montgomery!' "Hello in There" and of course Sam Stone. When I got out of the CG and went back to the U of Idaho, I went in with Chuck, an Army vet renting a farmhouse. It was $60 a month. Chuck was cousin to John Prine and played his albums constantly. Years later, after he retired from the Forest Service he went back to Kentucky to write a book about his cousin. He was living there in a camp trailer while he worked. The trailer caught fire & he was trapped in it, gone. Now John is gone too.
