    A Russian weapon which claims to be the world's most deadly sniper rifle is being hailed as a 'game-changer'.
    The Lobaev Arms SVLK-14S is able to kill from a distance of nearly two miles.

    They're comparing it to a .338 Lapua.

      Three years ago a Canadian sniper in Iraq killed an ISIS insurgent at a range of 2.14 miles using a McMillan TAC 50. See https://www.kurdistan24.net/en/news/...f-94643356fa1a. Clearly it is more than just the rifle that is important

          .408 Chey Tac has been around for a while as has the .416 Barret, and then there's the .50 Browning.
          My understanding is the optics those sniper teams (emphasis on team) use are able to factor in altitude, humidity, temperatature, precession (sp) and wind plus Tarot readings for all involved including the recipient of the bullet.
