Ohio University announced to the AFSCME Union maintance workers that as of 1 June their jobs are cut to save money. The "feel good" course of Women's and Gender studies are cut from two full time instructors to 0 and the African studies are cut to 1 starting next year. More cut are to be made to save money due to state money reductions to the universities in Ohio. The university is unsure as to how to proceed this next school year which starts in 90 days and the local schools as well have no idea on teaching.
