    Covid Study Out of India

    https://www.nytimes.com/2020/09/30/h...gtype=Homepage

    Interesting result:

Over all, the researchers found, 71 percent of the people in the study did not seem to have transmitted the virus to anyone else; instead, just 5 percent of people accounted for 80 percent of the infections detected by contact tracing.

This is different from the idea of “super spreader” events in which a single person infected hundreds of people at a crowded gathering, Dr. Lewnard said.
What they're saying is that it's comparatively few people who are contagious (perhaps asymptomatic) and go about leaving a trail of virus everywhere.

It may also explain why Sweden has hung in there, with a disciplined population that is willing to comply with the measures that are used. The virus is not getting that easy trail to new hosts.

Some folks wonder that India isn't getting slammed harder, but I would think that with all the germs there to begin with, they all have pretty kick-ass battle-hardened immune systems.

Anyone that can stand neck deep in a sewer tank with nothing on but their tighty whiteys and muck it out has to have a rock hard immune system.

Basically says the way to do it is find out who positives got it from, as opposed to who they gave it to. Find the source and then determine if any of their other contacts are spreaders.

That's IT! And all the other Turd Word places like Latin America, where millions live in squalor, crammed into ghettos like sardines in a can. It's OUR pussified, bedwetter, country, where even before Wuhan, TV commercials constantly fear-mongered the terrible danger of "bacteria," that the death toll is highest--a beneficial CLEANING of our gene-pool!

Not deliberately...merely because they lack the affluence to worry about disinfecting their sinks, counter tops, toilet bowls, etc with all the bedwetter products advertised on US TV.

That's called "contact tracing" and it's SOP. The problem in the US is, so many people refuse to cooperate.

It's an American's base emotional response.
