My co-worker had a jeep that he loved. It was bright Orange. He went out in the country. He said, that the deer pounced on the hood of his jeep [like he was in combat]. Deer have sharp hooves. Watch out for them. People have been killed or injured by moose and deer.
When I got the link, I wound up with some Nugent stuff.

uncle had a pinto, he did some mods and it was quite the little pocket rocket,, for 1978, (would be a slug today)


anyhoo,, on the way home one night, a deer, apparently in rut, and chasing a scent, ran off an embankment and landed on the hood if his beloved Pinto,
as he was driving it,


totaled the car, kilt the buck, when it landed on the hood (after about a 15' drop,) and rolled up on the windshield and roof
