concert season seems to be shaping up nicely,

got tickets today to see Gary Numan in DC this fall (930 club,, great venue)

and King Crimson is back on tour,
I had tickets to see them in Norfolk Va,,but got cootie canceled,
now they are back , and in DC,, in Sept,
tickets on sale later in the week,

That sure brings back memories. I haven't heard of the 9:30 club in decades.
I saw Holly and the Italians there in 1982. Lots of fun girls and alcohol in those days....

930 club has moved once or twice since then I think,
and are now affiliated with 4-5 other clubs/concert halls/ theater's in the greater DC area,

they were in the same marketing group as Then National here in RVA and The Norva in Norfolk,, but changed up years ago,

Ha, ha! Is Punks & Poseurs still in G-town? Remember the mannequin in the upper window? When in HS, the drinking age in DC was 18. So, I'd stroll into Dixie Liquor in my letter jacket and legally purchase. Filled my trunk every weekend. Good times.
