          Didn't know it was a Christmas movie, but not surprised. If your going to invite your buddies over to watch a movie it can't be the Christmas story(BB gun)again. I stood in a VHS rental store and was mesmerized enough to watch the whole movie. Hans Gruber, what a name. Rickman is the star. In Quigley and Harry Potter. He can roll a condescending sentence like no one. It's due to his upbringing in a certain part of the United Kingdom. A place where everyone talks that way. But they aren't all as good as Alan Rickman. He was a Shakespearean actor.
