He was a WWll vet, got wounded near the end of the war and had to live with a disability ever since. He was a member of the world's greatest generation.

However, he ended up being a big time RINO, an anti-gunner and a gun grabber. In this regard he would have been worse than Clinton in that with the extra power of being prez he would have pushed for everything imaginable related to gun control/confiscation.

Short of Hitler or Stalin and their ilk I don't dance a jig on the graves of dead folks. It's not becoming IMHO. The left has done enough of a jig on dole's grave in the past 24 hours. Dole wasn't perfect but from all I've heard he was a decent sort. RIP Bob Dole.
