    Marked Garand clips

In sorting some ammo, I noticed a few clips that looked different, almost blued.

In the circle on the bottom is stamped. BR W 1, BR W 5, and BR W 6. some are more lightly struck than others some have a dash between the BR and W some do not.

    I'm assuming these are Winchester?

And any collector value to these?

    Thanks!

    WRA clips

Most Winchester clips are stamped WRA, early ($30 to $50 ea) WRA clips have the notches cut
through the sides and a different web pattern on the back. Some claim Winchester made a clip
without markings but also had the notches cut thoughP1010040_0034_1.jpgP1010041_0035_1.jpg

The fe marked ones have some history. They are marked fe, a b c ect. I don't know why. But fe was fedders, the air conditioning co. today. Back in the forties, they did sheet metal. Hard as it is to believe they almost went bankrupt with their gov. contract. I came across a fe marked clip and got $40 for it as I recall.

Borg Warner clips are all over. Every W doesn't mean Winchester. LOL.
