    Long ago I was in a U.S. Army Reserve unit that did war gaming. Back then, of course, the hypothetical enemy was the Soviets. Of course at that time it involved pushing little markers across maps. I'll bet you today the military uses computer programs that I'm sure look like this without the computer generated aircraft and ships. A lot better than the old days.

    This is a scenario involving 100 TU 22M "Backfire" bombers against a U.S. carrier group about 1985. Doctrinal assumptions are accurate - except that the U.S. wouldn't have deployed this task group in the Black Sea.

    you reckon some gamer/programmer got his/her/non binary hands on some old info and built a game around it?
