Dollar Tree No Longer A Dollar

The economy surely is going downhill. I went into the Dollar Tree store today and saw all these signs in white and green color on the merchandise that said: $1.25.

There was a time when ALL items for sale at the Dollar Tree were only one dollar!

I wonder how much items are in the Dollar General stores!

It's not .99 cents either. When was a dollar worth a dollar? Not in a while.

When's the last time you saw a five and dime?

      TG&Y or Ben Franklin?

When ten dimes made a dollar. A dollar was made out of silver. Ten of those had some weight.
I was home when a guy came to pick up one of our dogs pups. He paid in silver dollars. I still remember the heft. The dogs went for ten dollars and a good home.
