rayg, you are the king of awful stories. I thought it was the daughter who left her mom covered up in the back seat. I've seen the responders try to wake up a passed out person in a car. It takes some real noise. Older folks are at the mercy of their children at the end sometimes.

As I understood the story, the mother just took off and abandoned the car with her in it and was gone as the car had eventually to be towed away. Maybe there's more to the story!
