I do not know about their gun laws but you can bet they are numerous and a PITA. The State is the home of a large group of left wing dingbats.

Your family member would be much better off moving to Northwest Arkansas. It is the HQ for Walmart and the economy is booming and the unemployed rate is about the lowest anywhere. You can buy a brand new 3BR, 2 bath house for a bit over $200K. Gasoline right now is $4.25 and the cost of living and unemployment is among of the lowest in the U.S. Even the cops here are pro gun and you do not have to have a permit to carry concealed.

Basically Wisconsin is a shall issue carry state that allows both open and concealed carry with a permit. It is not a Constitutional carry state which means you have to take a class and pass a background check to "pack heat." Once that's done the state must issue the permit. Deadly force is permitted to defend oneself or an innocent third party from the threat of death or serious bodily injury but not in defense of property.

More info is readily available on line.

....and Red is correct that Arkansas is more gun friendly than Wisconsin, in fact its more gun friendly than nearly anywhere.

Hopefully a better class than Marge took. "Missed the baby. Missed the blind guy."

Yeah, too bad the job is where the job is. Life is unfair.
