    R.I.P.

My friend John Hill, U.S. Army ret passed away last Friday. He was a devout Southern Catholic of Mississippi antecedents, raised in the Army.

One of his fondest memories was in Arlington Nat'l Cemetery with his wife in mid November 1963. While walking, he came to attention and saluted.
His salute was returned by the Commander in Chief, being driven through.

May he find a soldier's resting place
          Beneath a soldier's blow
With room enough beside his grave
          For Benny Havens, O!
