    So what's this lot worth ? ...

A friend I'd known for fifty years or so died a while back and
his Wife who I've known for almost as long gave me his gun stuff.
She's a Hoarder and some guys she employed to clean up stole a
bunch of stuff including two handguns I knew he had. However the
rifles and a Taurus 92 came to me.
Included was a box of LE #4 stuff which I don't want.
Complete bolt, magazine, the two short forestocks , pig sticker
(no scabbard) sling, some chargers, pull through, trigger guard.
one band and a bunch of screws.
It's a mystery as to what happened to the rest of it.
Anyway, what that lot worth ? Any ideas ?

Not a good description of what you have including condition.

Look at the auctions on GunBroker. I don't know if you can check the "sold" prices any more but you can put items on your watch list and if they sell see what they went for. It will give you some idea.

Some of that may be ebay items to check out.

          lay out what you have,
and then look at Apex or a similar Enfield parts supplier

Apex got all the Springfield Sporter parts thru Century a few years ago,

by short stocks, you mean sported or cut down, or No5?

Mag is repro or original? marked?

          sling original or repro?

charges, I think the last I saw were bringing a buck or 2 apeice, but look at them and see if they are early or late, and who made them , that makes a difference as well

Brit. GI No. 4 Magazines in good functional condition are pricey, often going for well over $100.00, Repros are usually garbage. I haven't checked lately but they are probably the most valuable of the LE stuff. Chargers in good condition are also bringing a good price. Parkerized chargers don't work as well as the blued jobs.

All the stuff is at least 20 -25 years old because I was with him
at the range when he was shooting it. How old is the new copied stuff ?
I'll just put it the For Sale for a reasonable price.
                      Thanks all.
