    What is being shot down?

    We all know about the Chinese spy balloon and are now hearing about cylinder and octagonal shaped objects being shot down. Except for the balloon it's all top secret right now.

    What I want to know is: is it purely coincidental that these unknown objects are appearing at the same time the balloon was noticed? Does China have advanced high altitude drones that can spy or are these in fact alien UFO's? If they are alien I have doubts they could be taken out by our missiles based upon previous info from pilots who filmed and commented on their speed and actions. If they are Chinese, Russian, or others, they have some advanced, dangerous (to us) crap flying around.

    If we are speaking of 2 different things here: Chinese and aliens, why all the attention now? Have our sky's been neglected till now?

          The whole democratic plan with balloons, etc. is to draw attention away from Biden's documents, border crisis, Hunter connections, etc! Mean while Joe is hiding out in his basement again to avoid questions!

                                              Like anything else that goes unnoticed until someone goes too far. Chinese balloon was meant for Guam or Pearl but the wind had other ideas. Now anything up there is suspect. Probably should have been paying closer attention all along.

                                                  Its starting to look like the US Air Force has been using F22 fighters to, at least in one case, shoot down people's toy baloons. You have to show you're doing something, right?

                                                      How is it that a missile was required . . . .when a single .50 caliber from a machine gun would pop anybody’s balloon?

                                                          These are very high altitude balloons. If they are above reach of a jet and gunfire then a missile is needed.
