    Russia sells their equipment to a lot of different countries. Somewhere along the line it could have been sold to an individual.

    Back in the '90s I saw a Mig 21 for sale in the Shotgun News for $50,000. It had gone through an American inspection and all the gauges and language in the cockpit swapped to English. It had come via China. Back then some countries still flew a few of these. It was gone by the time the next issue came out.

      I could not read your article due to quirks related to my computer but on a different site I found that the Pentagon claimed ownership, the tank was being sent to a U.S. Army base for training and the truck hauling it had mechanical problems and had to stop. The tank may have been seized during the Iraq war?
