    A Quick Thank You

Thanks to all for the kind words, good wishes and prayers during my illness. Today is a good day, no pain meds required. I always like to string those together if possible. While I still am going to have issues going forward I'm a heck of a lot better off than I was a year and a half ago .

Party time on Sat. Our kids are throwing the spousal unit and I a 50th wedding anniversary bash . Wine, beer, music and dancing...should be a blast.

Dang, I see I passed 9,000 posts on this site. This place is a bigger part of my life than I realized .

Have a great weekend. My back is about 95% better too. I guess my body still tries to keep things working (with some physical rehab). It's taken a full year. I remember when I hit the 3006 post (30-06, get it?).
If I should die before I wake...great,a little more sleep.
