"Never apologise mister, it's a sign of weakness" ...

It drives me crazy when these celebs make a stand for
what is right, then, when the offended perverts cry and
complain, come crawling back saying they didn't mean it.

Music legend Carlos Santana apologized after saying a man is a man and a woman is a woman. "I am sorry for my insensitive comments," he said in a

Yeah, they want you to be apologetic but not them if they offend others.

Certain groups are exempt from criticism and have the Right Not To Be Offended.

The Duke was certainly right when it comes to self serving apologies by people who seem to want it both ways.

But - Some of these "apologies" weren't really apologies, they were made by the performers publicist without consulting with said performer. Both Jason Aldean and Ne Yo repudiated apologies issued by their publicists without their consent. I have heard that may be the case with Santana as well but haven't seen anything definitive on that as was the case in the Aldean and Ne Yo incidents.

Publicists it seems are as annoying as bureaucrats.
