Yep, he owned bars, restaurants and I believe a casino or two. He was from my area. His sister has a restaurant at Gulf Shores, AL called Lulu's. We've eaten there a few times. It's all open and you sit by the water (canal). I wouldn't go there during the winter even as mild as our winters are.
Anyway, there's a lot of "parrotheads" here though I wasn't one of them.
From all I hear and read, he was a good man.
