My mother-b. 1913-said that until 1933 or so there were no self service groceries in NYC. You went to the counter, gave your list to the clerks and they went in back, brought your items out.
The lefties are always quacking that "the poor" don't have access to "healthy" food, so this will be an opportunity to correct that.
Put it on a no-cash basis, the patrons can swipe their EBTs.

Wow! I dealt with a couple of AFB Commissaries. I had some items that were new and designed for a new thing called a microwave oven. They were oven bags complete with spices. Before the young officers wife went to work took a roast, put it in the bag along with potatoes, carrots, onions, etc. Then set the timer for 4:30 and when she got home, presto, a already for super, was a delicious supper!

I hired a lady to replenish the product on the shelf and they were still selling out! The fix for that was more shelf space.

No. The Manager kicked the product out. It was too much of problem to keep the items!
