Periodically people go crazy. Sometimes ... its just a local thing. Less seldom, its a national thing. In this past century, there have been two times when it went world wide. This looks to be a local/national thing. Putin is hoping it will take some of the pressure off him. Doubt it. Right now, America has not gone crazy. Cannot say the same thing about Russia and Hamas.
