The 'Brawlers' are always dressed in shorts ...

I never wear shorts, and I never get in brawls.
Nor do well-dressed Men and Women.
There must be a connection, so don't wear shorts
    unless you enjoy punch ups.

Shorts don't restrict leg motion for stomp, kick, knee, or flee.

Oh my!!! Shorts!!! Can't imagine life w/o shorts and t-shirts!!! Wear long pants and whatever shirt as weather or occasion requires. However, just as soon as the pool opens, etc., it's shorts and t-shirts for me! JMHO. Sincerely. bruce.

I wear cargo shorts all summer.
        Haven't gotten into one yet.
A couple of years back a neanderthal teen with an attitude problem was itching to start one in a WVa Wal-Mart but I was wearing sweats so it doesn't seem to be borne out in practice?

I quit wearing shorts when I was ten yrs. old. I thought it wasn't cowboy but I did wear shorts when I got the job in AZ. It did make sense. These days I wear the whole regalia. I don't wear "real" shoes often enough. I might have to kick someone.

You guys obviously get into a lot of brawls but you're
too embarrassed to admit it. Me ? I'm too old and my legs are knobbly.

Not embarrassed at all. In all my years I've never gotten into one fight. A little boxing match with boxing gloves. It's work. I won and got cookies.

In 73 years on the planet just 2.
One didn't count IMO because it was a rip roarin' barroom brawl a la John Wayne & I just happened to be sitting there.
I won the other one with one punch.

I had lots of fights in School but only one in the Army.
Guys grabbed me to stop the fight but didn't grab the
other guy who then hit me. He had a tough time living
                  that down.
