Refusing to conform can be irritating ...

Refusing to take the vax was no problem, but not banking on line
can cause half a day of frustration.
I hadn't been inside a Bank since my local B of A closed a few years
back, but I needed to visit one because I was running low on checks.
It's been years since I visited this particular B of A and as I recall,
it was typical with half a dozen young girl Tellers. The Bank now
has one "Teller" tucked away in one corner - but all she gives out is
information, no cash, no deposits. She pointed me in the direction
of the only other "Helper" in order to order checks. This was torture
as the Woman had a speech impediment making it really difficult
to understand what she was saying. She went to her computer and
proceeded to press keys for close to ten minutes while asking if I
wanted this or that while I kept saying "I want exactly like this
Voided check". She eventually stopped pressing keys and said I'd
get my checks by the 17th, God only knows what will arrive in the mail.

Banking is as usual here except there's fewer employee's. It takes longer to get waited on and the Saturday morning lobby hours and Sat morning drive thru no longer exist.

Cannot remember the last time any bank employee showed any concern about my vaccination status. completely a non-issue. Sincerely. bruce.

The Bank encounter had nothing to do with the vax.
Both had to do with non conforming.
          Oh dear

Can you not re-order checks on line? As far as I know, that is the only way that I can do so now. Also, they have become very expensive so like most people I pay most invoices electronically. Much cheaper since there is no postage charge

My wife orders our checks on line but not through the bank.

Next time we order we intend to order from here:

Interesting. I have two savings accounts. Somehow, I finally used up all the checks on the one account. I write a check about twice a year. Went to the bank and ordered. I got a box of checks in a about a week. Easy Peasy. The weird part was, before they arrived I got a scam; 'your parcel is being held at the warehouse, we need your [information] to deliver it'- I ignored that, and the checks showed up a day or two later. Since then, I've gotten the same scam (see above). The scammers know about everything you do.
Funny thing: The woman I delt with at the bank had the weirdest, high pitched, nasel twang I've ever heard. Must be a new thing- Hire the speech impaired.
