I suspect this may have been a terrorist attack ...

    but we may never know.
If it was an attack they did one helluva job.
If so, it will be explained away as an accident
    - to avoid causing a panic.
However, it will be hard keeping a lid on it.

You may be right but having worked in similar industries it's hard to not have a fire or explosion.

Sometimes its hard to tell. Part of the Canadian Embassy in Nigeria blew up a few days ago but it was attributed to a fire in a tanker that was inside the generator building. I am uncertain what a tanker (as opposed to a fixed fuel tank) was doing inside the building but that is what all the reports state. Two people were killed

Texas has a lot of plants that make or handle explosive chemicals and fuels. The state does not invest heavily in workplace safety/environmental inspections and enforcement. Every couple years something big goes "ka-boom," it's in the news a few days, then the excitement dies down and back to biz as usual. If the voters wanted it to be otherwise they would vote the old rascals out and vote some new rascals in.

In regards to the OP I read where someone ran into something (accidently) with a forklift.
