    Carl Weathers is Dead

    Carl Weathers, "jacked" actor who got his start in supporting parts in "Blaxploitation" movies in the '70s but was best known for his work as Apollo Creed in the "Rocky" movies died in his sleep last night at the age of 76. Other significant movies included "Predator," "Action Jackson," and "Happy Gilmore." He was six days younger than me.

    Our son saw him recently at an autograph show recently. He said he looked in great shape at the time. Weathers worked right up to the end of his life.

          I never watched much black stuff but I remember the actor. Good Bye.

              Appeared in Death Hunt w/ Lee Marvin. Good movie. Good actor. RIP. Sincerely. bruce.
