what can you pick apart in the first Bullit Chase Scene?

you had a 68 Mustang with a 390 in it and a 68 Charger 426 Hemi (that car must've weighed 4300 pounds, my 383 -4V 69 charger weighed 3960 pounds)
When they went flying across an intersection, that charger with the 765 pound motor would have bottomed out and ripped out the oil pan at least.
Of course, everyone knows about the 7 hub caps coming off of the car.
