Back in 2007 I had my Poly Tech M-14S worked on by a retired USMC armora

I had the bolt replaced with a Winchester and had it glassed into what I was told a Big Red birch stock.

What makes a birch stock a "Big Red?"

Is there a "Little Red," birch stock?

The Poly Tech receiver and chromed barrel are still super well made despite all the rumors.

    Just curious.

I've always read that the Chinese made receiver was great if you replaced all the other soft parts with the available GI parts back then.
    you did good.

      Big Red M14 stocks

Good morning and happy Easter to all! I want to get a big red stock for my new tanker, which is better walnut or birch? Is there a manufacturer that is better than others? Thank you!
