    Mystery Solved: Marine 5 Sniper

I regret to inform the membership that Jim Tarleton aka Marine 5 Sniper had passed away on
March 29,2024. You can read his Obit, which Jim wrote, at the funeral home posting. QuinnMcGowen funeral home in Burgow NC. I will attempt to get a proper link for those that would like to read Jim's Obit.

I shall miss my friend and our conversations, both via phone and e mail.

    John

Sad to hear the news. Can’t even tell him I liked his mini autobiography/obit.
He went out with a job well done.

What a fascinating life and obituary. From the obit, it is clear that he was totally honest and clear about himself and most likely about everything else. Thanks for posting
