    World's fastest production car

Just posting FYI stuff. Not for everyone. Not for our crowded highways and too fast for the track but it is here.

Looks to me it was mostly copied (of course) from the looks of the new Corvettes.

China is wanting to get into and take over the world market of auto production. Previously all they came up with were plastic, glued together child's toy types that could not pass any form of safety standards. Looks like (with enough copying) they've come a long ways.

I remember when Tesla first started up. They were offering (prototype) a 2 seater EV capable of 200mph for around $100K which is within many rich people's budgets. AFAIK the model never came about and instead Tesla made the Honda Civic looking thing, then later the weird truck. I guess they are getting back into hp, torque and speed again. Range is what most EV buyers seem to want.

F-1 cars don't speed much over 200. NASCAR races are speed limited due to short tracks, curves, engine limits on HP, and crappy tires/brakes. I've read where the curves at some tracks such as Talladega are so banked that a lifted vehicle like a typical 4x4 might tumble down if parked there. So, tracks and highways are limited for speed, not to mention all the vehicles that would be in the way.

A Bugatti is the fastest production car I'm aware of capable of about 220mph and cost about $2M.

This Chinese car does 300mph (if true).

Maybach used to be a hot ride, but I'm not sure they're made anymore. SW

I think they are but they are made by Mercedes Benz as an upper level custom built vehicle costing $100's of thousands.
