if you have ever rafted the Gauley River in WVA, there is a section called Sweets Falls,
no where near as wide as that one pictured, but still a drop off,
Class 5 rapid, about a 15 food drop, that you cannot see as you approach it,

if you guide is good, he/she will say steer the boat towards the bump in the water,
cause all you see is a speed bump of sorts,

the pop, you are 15 feet lower, and hopefully still in the boat,

it is the lunch spot for the day, the boats line up on each side down stream, break out lunch, and watch other boats come over the falls,
