Wifey got stuff to give the little goblins a serious sugar buzz tonight. We don't get many, though. I think 8 was it last year. One thing that has really settled down is Halloween pranks. When I was in HS (back when dinosaurs roamed the earth) soaping windows - maybe bouncing eggs off random cars, festooning teacher's houses with TP and even burning a few tires was the order of the evening. Been quite a while since any of that has gone on. And I don't mind a bit! SW

No little kids now, all grown and gone. One year I bad torun off a group of teenagers.
Parents are getting smarter, the ones that used to come around now have critters of thekr own. They go to school or church organized activities and don't have to worry about drig laced candy or needles and razor blades.
Sick when hospitals volunteer to x- ray candy bags for foreign objects. But it won't pick up fyntanal. -

wife used to love to give out the candy, she would dress up as well, but now would rather not,
we usually go out to dinner instead, and get back after the neighborhood is done

So far... no little candy mooches. Little kids across the street loaded up right after school was out and away they went! I hear we might get some HS girlz mooching candy. I don't mind - it's granddaughter and her pals. They usually stop by and raid the fridge anyway. Don't mind that, either. We know where they are and what they're doing. SWComment
