    Daylight saving time

    Here we go again.

I remember when we first started doing this and as a young child I thought why make the long days of Summer longer when it is the short days of Winter that need to be longer?

The dark @ 5:00pm is also not safe for the women folk leaving work and going home.

When young and active it was hard to give up playing outside during the Summer when it was still daylight and not dark till 8:30pm often missing my favorite TV shows like Huckleberry Hound, Yogi Bear, Quick Draw McGraw, Woody Woodpecker and such plus then having to eat supper, do homework, etc.

Good time to have those atomic clocks now as mentioned in a previous thread.

This picture kind of sums it up.

Why not just move it a half hour one way or the other and call it good? No... wait, that would be too simple. SW

            Nope. It's AOC.

Women can do wonders with bleach, hair dye and make-up.

The fall back is going back to real time/standard time of course. Point is: with the already longer days of Summer do we need daylight savings time? Yeah, people get an hour extra of daylight to do outside activities but suddenly find their night life cut a little short.

For those who have to go to bed early it may only be dark for an hour or two before going down on the longest days. For me that was hard to adjust to.

used to be I did get that extra hour,

                  kinda

now, I am just tired and ready to go to bed at 10 vs 11, and my internal clock goes off at the same time, so the same amount of sleep,

and in a few weeks I will be used to it and back to going to bed at 11ish, and wake up 7ish,

As mentioned previously, my time revolves around my K9's stomach. If it wasn't for my wife/daughter going to work, as well as medical appointments I wouldn't care about time.
