    New Years Eve

Pretty much a nothing burger here. No alcohol on hand and no plans to stay up until midnight. Actually, I doubt I could stay awake until then. So the kids are coming over with pizza and board games. The stated goal is call it an evening around 2100 or so. Younger granddaughter wants to watch it turn midnight, but I doubt she could stay awake, either. We live quite a wild life here! SW

I'm gonna try and (yawn) stay up for the ball-drop. Rockin' New Year's Eve is supposed to be on tonight.
Last few years have slept through it.
Just ate a big bowl of home made beef veggie soup, and a ham samwitch. My chances are slim to none....
There's a fair sized ham to pineapple up and oven bake in the a.m.

Was up for the can, and a look outside. Missed the ball-drop by 60 seconds. Did watch fireworks from Chicago.
        Happy New Year!
