Things aren't going so well for Khamenei. Actual thousands of Iranians have had a belly full of Islamic-style rule and are violently revolting. Credible reports have much of the military joining the protesters. Things are looking so grim, Khamenei, he negotiated a bug out trip to Moscow for himself and 20 friends and family... until Putin said, "Sorry - guest facilities are full."

Oh, come on, Vlad - get out the bunk beds and roll aways - Khamenei can loot his treasury and make it worth your while!

At the moment, it's looking very much like Khamenei will end up like Daffy in Libya. SW

Can't help but thinking of the barber's chairs scene in "The Little Dictator" on reading this.
Probably not all that far off of reality, either.

On a more serious note, the cupboard may be bare when it comes to the Iranian treasury, which can only be depleted so many times.
