New pawnshop in town, so I stopped by to see what firearms they had. On the rack was an M1 @$1900.00. When I took a look at it was a commercial receiver and barrel with mixed parts. Told her what she had and she seemed surprised when I advised her if someone offered $800.00 to take it and run! In the gun case was a pawned Sig M17 with electronic sights. Price wasn't bad and since I only had a C note I layed it away to be picked up next time I am in town.

CAI I believe, no markings on heel just faint on left side of receiver.

In my faint memory you are correct. I would say that they have more in it then will get out. Stock was beat up pretty good, no markings that I could see.
